Abstract
Maxillary impacted canine which is one of the common orthodontic problem, creates many orthodontic problems. It is responsible for functional and esthetic problems, and in some cases it causes root resorption of adjacent teeth. So we should treat
it as
soon as possible.
Until up to now, many treatment methods have been developed, but now the most commonly used method is this : After surgically uncovering the crown pat, a bond of orthodontic appliance is established, and orthodontic traction is starting with a
fixed and
/or removable appliance.
We also use these methods. But we also use removable appliances at the beginning and change to a fixed appliance for a more detailed movement.
@ES Using these methods we achieved good results:
@EN 1. We reduced harmful effects to adjacent teeth.
2. We made proper alignment, so we have now created a good esthetic and functional relationship.
